Regarding the blood tests, I don't think a judge gives a damn if you're pregnant. Mexico may be a pretty conservative country, but it's socially pretty acceptable for people to have sex before getting married (at least in the cities).
They do need blood tests for STD's (which I don't think is a bad idea personally; people lie all the time they are virgins). They still check your blood for syphillis even though that disease is now rare. The witnesses don't have to be blood relatives either. They can be close friends of yours and don't have to be mexicans either. You will need death certificates of your parents if they're no longer alive.How difficult is it to get married in Rio de Janeiro or Mexico?
In Mexico you have to go to the local ';JUEZ DE PAZ'; or peace judge at the towns hall.....if you need a religious ceremony you also need to find a priest.... in Mexico since the 1860`s church and state are divided, and a preist can not give you a legal marriage, only the judge. try '; bodas'; in mexicos web sites for more info.
IN MEXICO YOU NEED, PROOF THAT YOU ARE NOT MARRIED, IF YOU WENT THROUGH A DIVORCE YOU HAVE TO WAIT ONE YEAR, YOU WILL NEED BLOOD TESTS DONE IN MEXICO, FOR HIV, NOT PREAGNANT, FOR DIABITIS, OR ANY OTHER DISORDER. IF YOU ONLY HAVE A CIVIL WEDDING, YOU NEED TWO WITTNESSES FOR EACH, PARENTS ARE WITNESSES, SO THEY CAN BE IN THE MARRIAGE CERTIFACATE, IF ONE IS DEAD YOU HAVE TO SHOW THE DEATH CERTFACAT. FOR A CHURCH WEDDING, IN MEXICO IT S JUST A SYMBOL, THE ONE VALID IS THE CIVIL ONE. A UDGE WILL DO IT, HE WILL CHARGE YOU ABOUT 555 TO DO IT IN A PRIVATE CEREMONY, OUTSIDE THE COURTHOUSE. A CHURCH WEDDING CATHOLIC, NEED YOUR BABTIZED, FIRST COMUNNION, AND CONFIRMATION, I THINK YOU BETTER START MOVING, IN MEX, APRIL IS A BUSY MONTH FOR WEDINGS. GOOD LUCK
