once you marry him you'll have a two year temporary visa and then after the 2 years is up and you're still married you will probably have to do a british test (which is easy to pass) and then you can apply for a permanent one to stay here whether you're still with your husband or not :)
Course it may be different for you, but this was the case for my friend who married a man in india and brought him over to the UK to live.
