I am married to an Irish girls for 3 years now but live in Dubai. How can i apply for an irish passport?

Basically the law says i should be living in Ireland for at least a year. which i can't now due to work. Is there a legal way to bypass that condition?I am married to an Irish girls for 3 years now but live in Dubai. How can i apply for an irish passport?

No on all counts, you can't claim Irish citizenship unless you can fulfil the residency requirement in the Republic of Ireland %26amp; it's not a year, you must be resident in the Republic of Ireland for at least a year before you make the application but you must have a minimum total of 4 years reckonable residence in the Republic (realistically it should be closer to 5 years)
